Austin Del Valle Motocross Park
Sept. 9-10, 2006
Once again, Justin showed how well that Honda fits him! He was sure flying! Got a 3-4 in the Open A and finished second when he raced the second moto of ProAm. Awesome, smooth riding, too! Josh wasn't meant to ride his bike this race _ too many things went wrong with it. His grandpa and Gary worked hard trying to get it repaired, but then when the motor blew, they knew it wasn't meant to be. Thanks to the Websters (and Kohls) Josh was still able to pull off a fifth place with a 3-6. It was the first time he's borrowed a ride since he started racing, and we were so grateful to both families for offering! Overall, we really enjoyed the weekend, and we were glad to see no serious injuries! There were some exciting races, tho!!!
FEATURED RIDER
For this race we selected Robert Salinas. Robert won both the ProAm and Over 30 A class this round, in addition to lots of time spent announcing the race. Where does he get that energy?! We laugh hearing his enthusiastic screams as he calls the riders' names and relays what is happening in the race... it's a great tension reliever during the intense race action! Robert, who faithfully makes the drive from Harlingen to race with STQRA, always has a smile, and we're glad to know him! Congrats on your wins, Robert!!!
